You can save money by using free programs such as Google Docs. or Skype for communications and document sharing especially if you have a network of home workers, offices or depots. You can find out more by using the following links ....

Going to answer the question (kind of). Sorry for kind of skirting the subject.

Whether it is people, computer systems, cleaning products or premises, it is never about cost, it is about value.

If something costs more than the value it provides either address it or bin it. This is something that people are terrible at. Getting maximum value is a daily exercise and should be reviewed from the moment you open the office door each morning. If you do this, you will never require huge cost-cutting exercises because to cut a cost would result in cutting greater value.

Cutting across your great comments Steve and Ryan it's great to see some activity on the Forum front. Your input is really appreciated and, following Ryan's comment, are true value for money.

I agree that we proably all need to look at the service we get and the value for money. And many people are actually afraid to ask for better service or discounts with companies that have been servicing them for some time. If you are getting value and service great. If not try changing to use a member if there is one offering the service.

Talking about freebies, there are lots around but we often don't know of them. Want to save money? Why not think about bartering. You often get even better service and value because you give as you get - if you don't between members let me know.

I'll put a Local Business Forum mug up for the best money making tip before the end of the month.
